I am an aspiring birth doula that is looking to take on new clients. I have recently completed the Labor Support training at Seattle Midwifery School and am working towards certification with
DONA International.

As a birth doula I would provide continuous support to you during your labor and the birth of your child, regardless of whether you decide to give birth at home, a hospital or a free standing birth center. A birth doula can be helpful to you regardless of whether you are using a Midwife or an OB as your primary care provider.

I offer a complimentary meet and greet session for prospective clients who are interested in my services.

Fee Structure?

Because I am still pursuing my certification, the cost for my services is reduced. At this time my fee is on a sliding scale of $250-500, you decide the amount. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to retain my services, due when you hire me as your doula. The balance of my fee is due at the first post-partum visit. If you select me as your birth doula

• 1-2 prenatal visits (at about 1-2 hours each) where we will discuss your
  expectations for labor and birth including ways to cope with labor.
• Resources and recommendations - tried and true recommendations for various
  pregnancy, baby and parenting products and services.
• Continuous support during your labor and the subsequent birth of your child
• Phone and email support
• A backup doula - to ensure continuous labor support for you in the event that I am unavailable to attend your birth
• 2 postnatal visits - we will talk about your birth experience, your level of satisfaction
  with my services and any other issues that you wish to discuss.
